Curt & Elizabeth Jensen
We are a husband and wife team who have been married for 19 years, but have been crafting together ever since high school! Since we are always crafting with our girls, we decided to start Cut Paste Celebrate to share some of our #PrintableFamilyFun with you.
Curt: Illustrator & Printable Designer
Curt graduated from Brigham Young University (BYU) with a Bachelor of Arts, emphasizing in design for theatre and film. After graduation, he enjoyed his 15 minutes of fame as Art Director for the cult classic, Napoleon Dynamite. His handiwork can be seen on posters and locker signs throughout the film, and he can say with great pride that he was the man behind-the-caboodle-case tying Deb’s infamous boondoggle.
Channeling his inner Deb, Curt has made a living for his family with his handicraft skills. He has developed new products and collections for Cricut, American Crafts, Heidi Swapp, Project Life, We R Memory Keepers, Pebbles Inc., Sweet Sugarbelle, Doodlebug Design, DCWV, Michaels, Target, and HSN.
Elizabeth: Copy Writer & Public Relations
Elizabeth graduated from BYU with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, emphasizing in Public Relations (PR), and a minor in Business Management. She has worked in PR for American Eagle Outfitters, French Toast, The United Way of Utah, CB2, and Skinceuticals.
Her writing endeavors took her into the craft magazine world: Creating Keepsakes, Paper Crafts, Simple Scrapbooks, Stamp It!, and Paper Crafts Special Issues. She’s also been a marketing writer for Big Picture Classes, Brigham Young University, Logoworks by HP, Marketsplash by HP, and FamilySearch.org.
Mary Ann & Caroline Jensen
Our girls take great pride in testing all of the projects we post! They also love standing in as our models whenever we do a photoshoot.
Mary Ann
Mary Ann wrote, illustrated, and published her first book, The Lost Mermaid, in 2019. She sells them locally and on Etsy: @BooksByMaryAnn. Her second book, Would You Rather? is the first of six books in her new Sundance Springs Series, released in April of 2020. M.A.S.H. is the second book in the series and will be released Fall 2020. She is a 6th grader and serves as a Student Body Officer. She enjoys studying meteorology, playing Barbies, and is a member of the Stars and On Stage Choirs at Hale Center Theatre. She has also studied the French language for the past six years and has her Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do.
Caroline
Caroline is a gifted violin player who has an amazing ear for music. She is currently learning from the Suzuki method and enjoys putting on concerts for her family, grandparents, stuffed animals, and dolls. She has taken it upon herself to learn how to correctly lead music. She puts her practice into play by leading right next to her dad in front of the congregation at church every Sunday. She loves reading, drawing, and playing Barbies with her big sister. At school she loves math, creative writing, art, and of course playing outside with her friends at recess. She has been studying the French language for the past two years.
